This "hotel" is really suites only, from a studio complete with kitche and sleeping for up to four rather closely, all the way to a three bedroom lockokoff which is really a two bedroom, two bath with a kitchen and an additional one bedroom with it's own kitchen and bath whichcan sleep eight very easily. The rooms are bright and airy and all have balconies. The three bedroom lockoff actually has a wrap around balcony with an outdoor bar and it's own hot tub. Onsite is a world class spa, three restaurants including a health food cafe at the spa. Right next door is a shopping center with dozens of shops, a laundermat, more restaurants, an indoor plaza, and a bank. The resort boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. There are two gorgeaous pools. The larger pool has twogiant crocodile water slides. The smaller pool is not the normal blue, rather it is grayish and looks like a natural lagoon and has its own serpent water slide. You never have to leave the resort to have fun.
You have access to many tours that pick up right at the hotel. The rooms almost all have views of the marina, which is gorgeous or the ocean. Some rooms do overlook the parking lot, but even that is not bad as the grounds are so lovely. There is a zoo onsite and world class golf nearby if that is your thing. Theo only drawback to the resort is that it is in Nuevo Vallata and it is about fifteen miles to downtown Puerto Vallarta. A taxi can cost quite a bit. However, buses run regualrly.
I have been there alone, as an unaccompanied woman traveler. I have always felt safe and secure. I have been with just my husband and had a very romantic time. I have also brought adult and teenage children and even grandchildren as young as one year. There was always something for everyone to do. as a matter of fact, it is difficult to travel there alone or with just my husband anymore as everyone keeps clamoring to go back. I cannot reccommend a better place whether you travel alone, with a sweetheart or with the whole fanily.
