Louis Palazzo Di Zante Hotel, Zakynthos

My husband and I stayed for a week at the end of May. The staff worked extremely hard, although the waiters tended to be rather miserable. The animation team however were a delight, always laughing and joking and trying their hardest to include everyone in their entertainment. The rooms were fairly spacious although there was a lack of storage space. The decor was rather dated and wallpaper peeling from the the walls. They were kept spotless by the cleaners. We were next to two other Louis hotels and were able to use their facilities, they both had better pools and would be more exciting to use for children. The beach was very close and was clean and child friendly. The food was of a very high standard with plenty of choice altough it did tend to get a bit samey after a week. On the whole it was a good holiday and would have no hesitation in returning. The biggest problem is by the shop on the hotel complex is the dreadful smell of sewage. Not pleasant!!!!!!!!!
