This is a small new hotel. It is only 5 to 10 minute walk to the East Non-Jing Road Shopping Road, subway station, and the Bund. But you have to pass a not-so-pleasant local neighborhood. That may be the reason I only pay 458 RMB (Aug 2006) for a room. I didn't have to pay service charge. So 458 RMB is the total price I pay.
The room is clean, new, and comfortable. It is a very good bargain if you don't mind having a tiny hotel lobby and walking through a local area. I will stay there again if I have to pay for it.
