Suite Novotel Paris Porte de la Chapelle, Paris

At first we were a little concerned about the location. From the outside the area looks very urban and very close to a freeway. However, the decor of the hotel and the rooms were very modern and comfortable for our week stay. Our suite had a queen bed, with a pull out single & a very comfortable couch that doubles as a single bed as well. There was a modern room divider for privacy if needed. A desk, chairs & tv on rollers to move easily around the room. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Even a sink & small refrigerator! I especially loved the bath & seperate stand up shower. And the rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were moderately friendly. I did appreciate the free internet (despite the french keyboard!). And we found the most amazing west indies restaurant just a few blocks down the street that made it all worth while! It's called RESTAURANT LE SAINT-FIACRE on Ave du President Wilson. All in all, the hotel was perfect for the price after we adjusted to the location. I would stay again, but may consider another Suitehotel location closer to the center of the city.
