My Visit to Borgo de Colleoli
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/14/07
The setting is idealic, nested on the top of a hill, overlooking the north Tuscan countryside, smells of flowers in the air, a glass or two of Chianti and stunning food.
The apartments we stayed in were lovely, with a DVD player and TV, kitchenette if you wanted to cook yourselves. The resort is car-free, with two swimming pools, one is heated, the other is not. It is very central for visiting Pisa, Florence, San Giminagno, and Lucca. It is a great place to sit and unwind, with a good book or two, and absorb the Tuscan way of life, Highly recommmended.
