Sands Beach Villas, Teguise

On arrival there was only one member of staff on reception causing long delays & whilst waiting we noticed dirty tired furniture and rugs in need of clean. We stayed at 20 Verdie - room very shabby, dirty ripped furniture, tired bedding that did not fit, cooker when used blew all the electrics. kettle with lid hanging off, toaster which had melted around edges. Changing of sheets was'nt done on due day, incorrect number of towels supplied even after asking. We also noticed there were no smoke detectors in apartments. We moved after 5 days and found 2nd apartment had a fuse box with main cover missing and a chair placed underneith for any child to climb on if they wanted to. We were also provided with cockroach spray! Resturant food was very poor. I have read good and bad reviews and its almost like we are all talking about different resorts . We went with the positive reviews and wished we had'nt. We have also complained to our holiday company and have been compensated!
