City Lodge Umhlanga Ridge, Umhlanga Rocks

It was a great stay. The rooms are well-apportioned and comfortable. The dining facilities are great, the food is delicious, and the staff is serviceable and pleasant. Their breakfast buffett is exceptional with cook to order eggs, omlettes, pastries, breads, cereals, fruit, juices, and much more. The excercise room overlooks a cascading pool. The hotel forms part of the Umhlanga Ridge Gateway Mall complex and overlooks the Mall Fountain and main entrance. It is ideally situated at one of the most modern malls, literally the envy of any in the U.S. or Europe. I highly recommend a stay at this visually upscale hotel with very moderate prices.
