Seaside Cabanas, Caye Caulker

I first stayed at Seaside Cabanas when I traveled there as a wedding photographer. The couple and their whole group were staying there so we did too of course. What a great place! Comfortable, clean, nice rooms. A/C works well & even has its own remote, good water pressure and their is even free Wifi. The pool though is the focal point and since Caye Caulker itself is not a "lay out-on-the beach" kind of place, the pool is the perfect spot with its view of the turquoise waters. I returned last summer and introduced my husband to the island. He too fell in love. We stayed in Cabin 1 this time and enjoyed the view and the private terrace with two lounge chairs and a hammock which is protected by a thatch roof so you can take naps without giving yourself a sunburn. We are returning for a 3rd visit in July 11 and bringing friends. Staff is excellent and friendly and location could not be better - the water taxi terminal is just steps away and the hotel itself stays relatively quiet in the evenings.

Very clean rooms, very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed there for 4 nights, two in a room with a view of the pool and the ocean and two nights in cabana number 1. It was so nice to sit by the pool during the day and at night, we really did not want to ever leave it was so relaxing. It was a bit expensive compared to other places on the island but I believe that you get what you pay for and this place was well worth it. Love this place and cannot wait to go back.

I visited Seaside Cabanas last year while vacationing on Caye Caulker I loved it so much that when I returned this year in November I had to stay there. The staff were fantastic finding me a room last minute to suit my husband and 13 year old son. The room was clean and tidy, and everything we needed for our stay with 2 double beds. The bar staff were fantastic also, they made some delicious pina coladas and virgin ones for my son. The reception staff were there to help me book my snorkel and maya ruin excursions. We did a full day fishing trip, half day reef trip, and full day Lamanai trip. I must recommend all 3! Probably best to book in advance as I said the staff did their best to find us a room, but we wanted to stay for 5 nights but they were so fully booked up we were only able to stay for 4. We'll be back so watch out for the Jenna family again on Caye Caulker.

We are a recently retired couple on a diving holiday and were extremely happy with our decision to stay at Seaside Cabanas. The Hotel is charming, very tropical looking and quite comfortable, with a lovely little pool to cool off in - and believe me you will need to cool off! We spent many a happy hour dipping our toes with a lovely Rum Cocktail a.k.a. a Panty Ripper - from the hotel's bar. The staff were amazingly helpful with organising our dive schedule and other trips we did to see the breath-taking ruins on the mainland. We were assured to see a Nightwatchman present every evening before we turned in for the night. Highly recommended for couples and divers - no kids (which may upset some) but was bliss to have peace and quiet around the poolside.

This hotel really is a little gem. We have been back to Caye Caulker twice now and stayed at a couple of places, but this is certainly our favourite. Very clean, friendly staff that helped us a lot with arranging our trips. As far as security we never felt unsafe once on Caye Caulker. The hotel certainly has a night watchmen now as he said hello to us as we came in a couple of time when we had been out late to the oceanside bar. Highly recommended place, excellent swimming pool.

I usually go every year with a medical team to the Belizean jungle. We always take one day before we leave for a little fun and we always stay at Seaside Cabanas! I love the atmosphere around and one of the Best restaraunts, "Habanero's" is just right up from there. I hate I'm gonna miss it this year. :-(

Got off the boat and walked around town. My first enticing moment was stopping at the bar for a drink. The weather was perfect, the drink cool and delicious and the gal behind the bar was gracious, fun and confirmed my feelings of excitement and desires to stay at the Seaside Cabana on my next trip to Caye Caulker. It has been three years and I am planning to come back this year. When I do, I am going to seriously look into buying a home and living there. Whoever said Heaven and Hell were here on Earth found Heaven in the Seaside Cabana Hotel, and I want to live there.
