Already booked again, for my 3rd stay!!!
By ,
This is a fantastic, warm and freindly place to stay. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are made to feel part of the family... The room was just what we wanted, very clean and bright... The overall experience was the best... Already booked to go back next year... Keep up the great work the O'Briens.xxx

Only good for workmen on a budget
By ,
Staff not very helpful, Room stinking of smoke. Bed cover was dirty. Shower was disgusting, no enamel left on the cubicle floor the door was far too small to get into the shower cubicle, the tiles on the bathroom floor cracked as you walked on them. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The only nice think was the breakfast & the nice Irish lady serving it. Website says entertainment most nights - this never happens. Website says carvery available - this also did not exist. very expensive 7 euros twenty for a morgans & coke!!!

Are you serious.......?
By ,
The shower in the tiny tiny bathroom was good with lashings of water but that was about it....... broken windows (2), broken lights, fittings hanging off the wall, room backing onto the biggest building site which gave us a bird's eye view of at least 50 workmen in hard hats when we awoke! You could brush your teeth whilst sitting on the loo. Breakfast was good but just remember, if you are going to The Ferryman, avoid Room 17!!!!

Another adventure and another story
By ,
Our first impression of the hotel was not very good. It could use a handyman and a quite a bit of scrubbing, but we got used to it and enjoyed the pub in the evening. Not a luxury place, but OK. Another adventure and another story.

not too bad
By ,
it had a good location if you don't mind a good walk along the river. You can also catch a bus nearby for locations in Dublin which are further away. I liked the idea of rooming above a bar/pub too! Very convenient for coming back after a long day and having one as a nightcap. Very reasonably priced.

Don & Doris 2007 Dublin Tour!
By ,
This is a great place to stay if you want a warm, bustling & friendly Dublin experience. The staff are first class & you are not made to feel like an outsider. The Guiness is the best & the carvery was out of this world! In fact we enjoyed our stay in August so much, that we are just about to book again for this coming February. O.k if you wanted to be really nit-picky you could say that the location could be a little easier, however we both enjoyed staggering home after a few too many pint's! It's all part of the experience! Keep up the good work and see you guy's in February, by the way we are Paul (shaved head!) and Tony (taller & not so bald!)otherwise known as Don & Doris!

Dublin is amazing and this hotel really made it even better, its a great hotel with everything you need and very clean. We just left the hotel and its because it is on top of the pub youhave such a laugh!! and there is no noise that keeps you awake. Temple bar is also really good everyone is so nice and they all just want to talk to you. I'm definately going back again and again!! Thankyou

The friendliness and hospitality of the owner and her family were just amazing on my arrival. Had a very comfortable room overlooking the river. Good value. A satisfied Canadian traveller.
