I should have known better
By ,
I am appalled that this hotel can charge the prices that they do. Yes, this Ibiza during the height of tourism season, I understand. Although we are a young group ourselves, we were surprised at how disrespectful of property the other young people who stay in this hotel are. They were loud, drunk, and causing disruptions in the hallway. Ibiza is one of the party capitals of the world, but my sister and I would never imagine causing such a ruckus in the hotel. The club is one thing, the hotel is another. It took a long time for the cleaning service to come to our room (not until after 4pm). Another general observation was that the water that came out of our tap was salt water. The internet was very expensive, I felt completely robbed. Something like 5 Euro for 20 minutes. Breakfast and an additional meal were included in the price, but it was not very good food. The bar in the hotel was reasonably priced though and made very strong drinks – a definite plus considering how expensive Ibiza is! When we checked in, the extra bed (there were 3 of us) was not properly configured, so we had to ask to have that done. They did it promptly, which was nice of them. When my sister and I went to the beach and wanted to rent umbrellas and towels, we were told we had to put down a 20 euro deposit. We rented everything on the beach instead. You’ll have to put down a deposit for everything at the hotel, including the remote control. The proximity to the beach was probably the only nice thing about the hotel. Space was also right across the street, but the tickets the hotel offered were not very discounted. Overall, this hotel was more like a hostel with separate bathrooms.

Nightmare
By ,
Have stayed here so many times but this time was very disappointing. The best thing about this hotel was the relaxed laid back atmosphere. No children and no worries. NOT ANY MORE. You cannot breathe without someone telling you off. Two pool attendants that think themselves to be very important - who wont allow you to do anything fun. Play with a ball? get it confiscated. play music, turned off, lie on the grass - asked to move. It was never like this before. There are nowhere near enough sunbeds for everyone so people will just remove your towel and take your bed when you are not there! My biggest complaint is the entertainment team. They should call themselves "its all about us". Or just "Emma" who is the main girl who just takes over everything. This girl believes she is far better than she is and is literally the lead in every nights performances. Every night there is one of their shows where they can boost their already oversized egos and parade their lack of talent on stage. The same routines were being done two years ago and nothing has changed. The Abba performace was painful, as was We Rock you, Romeo and Juliet and Fiesta Stars, again them in the limelight. Aftter each performance the group spend about 20 minutes bowing and having photos taken like they are celebrities. Never a disco or music nights for guests to interact or dance. Everything is turned off abruptly after their perfornance at midnight. The waitresses who are happy taking your money will suddenly turn and simply pour your drinks away in front of you and demand you get up and leave - NO LAST ORDERS THERE! This was such a fun hotel once and now is run by a team of huge egos. Sort out the entertainment it is painful! This is a young persons hotel - people that like clubbing and partying - but not one night is there a DJ or music or a chance to dance. There is one dance at the end of the night - but again it is following "the gang" in their routine. One night was a parrot show (we are not five years old) and the two people runnnig this were just two nasty people after cash, they stuck the parrots on my friend, took a picture and demanded 10 euros. Someone near us took a photo and they got nasty trying to take the camera off and even gave us the finger when we argued. We are guests at this hotel and nothing was done about it when we complained. This guy then put the birds in the boot of his car. You can only imagine what those animals go through. There is bingo every night (again we are not 90) and the entertainment does not suit the clientelle. Its awful and needs updating. Ask people what they want. This surely to god cannot what people want to see

Going back for the 5th year in 2007
By ,
We first went to this hotel after a nightmare holiday in Guernsey ... we overheard people discussing their fab holiday in a pub and asked where they went - it was here. We had a fantastic stay the first year and have done so ever since - we stay in school holidays so there are a lot of children around - only to be expected. The children's clubs (both Thomson and the hotel run clubs) are brilliant - our son has always enjoyed them. There are also loads of activities going on if you want to join in, or you can lounge around the pool if you want to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean, with aircon. Food is FABULOUS! We usually take up the food and drink option which turns this from half board to all inclusive - costs about 200 for two adults and 1 child for a week. The hotel will provide a packed lunch for trips out which contains so much food that we can't eat it all! Close to the main Playa D'en Bossa shops and restaurants. There is a water taxi about half a mile along the beach that takes you into Ibiza Town harbour. There is also an excellent day trip from here to Formentura. Club Fiestaland is nearby where you can indulge in football, tennis, crazy golf, basketball etc - free! I can't recommend the hotel highly enough :-)

Will definitely stay here again!
By ,
Hotel was sparkling, staff friendly, service great. Room was beautiful and clean, had a terrace with front and side view of the beautiful Playa D'en Bossa; sunrise was gorgeous from the room! Maid service was friendly and efficient each day. Air conditioning was incredible - had to get a blanket because the room would be freezing if I forgot and left the air on! Short walk on the beach to Bora Bora beach bar and club; area was a good mix of familiesand young people - mostly groups of fun loving young people from Spain, Italy and Germany. The hotel and the Club PDB (with the cabana-type rooms) are the two middle hotels in the string of hotels called Club Fiestaland that dominate PDB; these two are inches away from each other and catered to mostly younger Germans and Italians. Easy access to taxis and buses in front of the hotel. Ses Salinas and Es Cavallet beaches and nature preserve an 8 euro cab ride, or a short ride on a rented moped. No problems with noise from Space nightclub across the street (especially with the new enclosed terraces). The house music sounded nice from the terrace in the room, though. Pool area was gorgeous, bar was laid back and friendly, water was cool, clean and sparkling (love the little dolphin logo at the bottom!) The all you can eat buffet was absolutely amazing - half board included a massive breakfast and lunch, and the food selection was excellent. Had a full English with three bangers, crepe-like pancakes and all the coffee I could drink every day! Drinks extra but not too expensive. Full board was about 100 euro extra for 7 days - extremely convenient for first timers to Ibiza; 14 euro for dinner if you wanted it and worth every penny. Very laid back vibe but a very professionally run and modern hotel right on the beach. Highly recommended for everyone! For young people it's a step up from hostels and the Jet apartments but close enough to revel in all the fun.
