Not convenient and not nearly as nice as it looks
We picked Trinity College cause of the history and the fact that the rooms look so nice on their website. Using a map from the website we went to where it said the room was. The entry doors were all locked and after asking a few people found out that we had to the office at the front of the college first, which was pretty far away and not mentioned in any of the confirmation e-mails. We got there a couple hrs before check-in and they did not offer to hold our bags while we waited (which is an option), so we had to carry them around after our long plane ride from Atlanta, GA.
When we got the key we walked all the way to the back of the college where the rooms were and the key didn't work. Had to walk all the way back to the front with our bags again and then they argued that we didn't know how to use the key. Turns out the door itself was broken. They finally offered to drive us to the dorms the second time. Dorms were nothing like the pictures...it was an old white small cinderblock room with no character. Way overpriced. Shared a bathroom with several other rooms. Only highlight was the breakfasts were traditional Irish and very good. If we went back we would go back for the breakfasts but skip the lodging. I am usually not a complainer but it really sucked compared to what we were expecting!!!
