Bogles Round House Cottages, Bogles

The round house is unique in every way. Reserve the Mango cottage and let the nearby ocean waves lull you to sleep. This is out of the way in the little village of Bogles which features two little shops (one with a rum bar), and lots of friendly and colorful people to make you feel like you are a part of the village community (if you want). The restaurant features arguably the best food and fresh bread on the island (Roxanne, the chef holds international gold medals for her creations). The little beach is a few steps away and although not as picturesque as some, offers everything you need for a nice swim. High North park and Anse la Roche beach are nearby for the more adventurous traveller. And you can always catch a local bus under the tree just outside the Round House compound. The cottages themselves are perfectly built for a week or two stay. You won't regret choosing the Round House if you like places off the beaten path, yet still have all the ameneties you need to be comfortable. This is the real Caribbean. I saw on the website US$375 for a week. Best deal ever!
