Luna & Simone Hotel, London

Liked the proprietors, very friendly and caring. Everywhere spotless and well furnished.Facilities excellent. Breakfast was adequate and served quickly and with a smile. The power shower in our twin bedroom was fabulous. Also nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom. We recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back

The hotel itself is clean and looks nice. However, there is no elevator and lots and lots of stairs to climb. The "2nd floor" is actually up to the 3rd floor. Breakfast is served in the basement so it's a long trip back up to your room. Picky eaters should not stay at this hotel, the breakfast doesn't consist of much except eggs, toast, or cold sandwich ham. The rooms get a little hot also, but there is a fan in there to use and you can open the windows. There is room to put your luggage and the bathroom is clean.

Stayed in September of 06 and loved it.Going back in 4 weeks...room was very clean and loved the location. The owners are so nice and pleasent.

The place is a great family run hotel. The owners are twins, and treat you very well. The food was great, rooms very clean, and building was very quiet. Definately a top place to stay which is well located. Will stay there again next year, too.

The staff is friendly and accommodative, and breakfast is hot and tasty. You are given a choice for breakfast: a typical English breakfast consisting of a fried egg, baked beans, and bacon (which looks like American country ham), or ham and tomato, or two boiled eggs. All choices come with toast, coffee or tea, orange juice or corn flakes. The room we stayed in was very clean. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. Although the rooms are small, there is room for luggage and a desk. Our room had a fan and heater. The location is perfect. The Victoria and Pimlico Tube stations are within walking distance, and bus 24 stops near the hotel. The hotel is quiet as well. We found this hotel, compared to others in the area, to be a bargain for the money.

Unfortunately we stayed here in June during a London heat wave-32/33C/92F. The small fan could not cool the room. It is difficult to sleep when you are sweating. Even though we had prepaid the room, we left a day early. The nice features of the hotel other reviewers have mentioned cannot make up for this shortcoming.
