Bankside House offers affordable private rooms in an amazing central London location. Many of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and you will also get a brilliant English or continental breakfast for free. Discounted rates are available from 14th August 2012!Bankside is located on the bustling South Bank of the Thames. We are just two minutes from Shakespeare's Globe theatre and the Tate Modern art gallery. St Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye and Tower Bridge are all just a stroll along the river.Single, twin, triple and quad private rooms are all available giving you a little more privacy than beds in a shared dormitory. Many of our rooms are en-suite and all have tea & coffee making facilities giving you that bit more comfort. Our prices include a great English or continental breakfast, linen, towels and housekeeping.On the lower ground floor you'll find the bar area complete with pool tables; fully equipped games room and coin operated laundry. The Bankside restaurant also offers meals on most lunch times and evenings. There are pay-as-you-go internet terminals in reception. Internet access is not yet available in the bedrooms - we are working on it though!Bankside House has a friendly reception desk open 7am - 11pm, offering advice on local attractions, transport etc. Outside of these times security staff are present. You can check-in to your room from 3pm, and should check-out by 10.30am. If you are in London before or after these times we will happily store your luggage. We have 24 hour access with no curfew. LSE Bankside House is a student residence owned and operated by the London School of Economics and Political Science. It is available to the general public on a nightly, bed and breakfast, basis outside of term time. All profits go towards supporting and subsidising student accommodation.
