Sol El Cantaoui, Port El Kantaoui

The hotel complex is enormous and has around 800 rooms, we were told. This is not the place to go if you are looking for some peace og tranquility. There was loud music from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and lots of noisy activities in and around the pool. The so called entertainment was awful and embarassing! Food was ok, but if you don't have full pension you will have trouble finding food in the hotel area. The Coconut Island resturant is quite good, but you have do book a table in advance to get served. They don't allow you to buy food in town and bring back to the hotel either, for some reason. This was really annoying as the hotel food became quite boring after a while. There are 4 outdoor pools at the hotel, but impossible to get at sunbed unless you get up at 7 or 8 a.m. Who wants to get up that early when they are on holiday? However the beach is nearby, and we always managed to get sunbeds there. You have to pay to use them though, byt at 2 Dinars a bed it is not that bad. I would not go back to this place, maybe you should rather considering staying closer to Sousse, I would if I knew how this place is.
