Great Dinner Show!
By ,
We were only there for dinner and the show. It was very reasonable in price and the service was great. The house band as well as the performers were outstanding. The food was good and the beverage prices reasonable. We made reservations in the afternoon and got a front row seat for the dinner show. I would recommend the facilities and when back in Dublin, I would stay at the hotel.

Beware!
By ,
Loved the location and ambiance....room was nice and large, BUT the walls and windows are SO thin that you can hear everything outside. The music downstairs is lovely but sounds literally like it's in your room and on the weekends it turns into a DISCO! We were exhausted the first night and the disco music went on into the wee hours of the night and was so loud! We almost started crying! We could also hear people talking outside (it's across from a hostel) like they were in the room. i have since read to request a room in the back of the property where it's quieter.

Loved it!
By ,
I have stayed at the Arlington Hotel several times when I have been in Dublin. Every time the staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were bit a bit small but by European standards, very nice. I am planning on staying there again in June. Their breakfast is first rate as well. Aleda Doran, Illinois

dublin, see u again soon
By ,
ive just come back from a 3 night stay at the arlington and i can rate everything positively about the place. there were 8 girls who went and it couldnt of been safer 4 us because the bar, restaurant and nightclub were all under 1 roof meaning if one of us was tired etc we could go bk 2 our rooms thru reception without having 2 venture the streets and get taxis by ourselves. the smoking area at the back of the room in the bar is gr8 because u can socialise with other people while your having a ciggie. fantastic, cant wait 2 go bk again, see u soon, england girlys

Excellent Location, cant wait to go back!
By ,
The Arlington is in the best location for shopping, sightseeing, and partying. There is a food mart acrossed the street to grab snacks/drinks. The Hotel Pub, Knightsbridge has entertainment everynight of the week that attracts a great crowd. Everynight I was there they had a Irish band, followed by the Irish dancing, followed by either more Band, or great music. The hotel staff was somewhat snotty, and we had trouble getting our wake up calls and missed our tours becuase of it, so i would bring an alarm clock next time. Even though the beds were hard, and the staff wasnt all that great, the location and the pub made it worth it. Ill definatly go back!

Arlington Hotel
By ,
I was in the Arlington Hotel in October 2004 (the bank holiday weekend) one Saturday night for a few drinks with a friend when we were in Dublin for the weekend. The atmosphere was electric in the place. The young ladies in the place looked lovely. The talent was good. (what ever happened to Nicky from Eastbourne?). We didn't stay there that night but it was a great, friendly place. I was also there at New Year with the same friend and we stayed there. The staff were really friendly and they couldn't have done any more for you. It was great. It's well worth a visit.

WARM FRIENDLY PLACE TO STAY.
By ,
I stayed in Dublin with friends and family at the beginning of July, our Hotel was ok, but when we went to the Arlington we decided this was our next hotel when we came again, and sure enough 2 weeks later we were back, this time staying at the Arlington, The staff were good, the waiter we had on the evening was outstanding, (we tipped him well)The only thing I was dissapointed with was;- to have a good seat on the evening, and to watch the show, we had to have a set menu meal, which is fine, but not when you stay for more than 3 times , as there is only 3 choices of main meal, and when I dont like salmon, there was only chicken (which was lovely) and the steak in Guiness pie (which was wonderfull),and it was pricey , which I dont mind paying for as long as I enjoy the food, But variety is the spice of life and the Arlington is missing out on the evening, Mind you if you are only going for the one night meal and show you will not be dissapointed, I would have liked maybe a salad as an option or a ploughmans lunch. one other thing a better air conditioner would be advisable especially as we are now getting hotter weather. overall this has been one of the better hotels we have stayed in, and would use again, The lobby will look wonderfull when it is finished, I cant wait to go back and see. The shows were good and the dancing outstanding, well worth going to see.Infact you would have to pay to see this entertainment anywhere else. location of Hotel is just perfect.
