if u get a room by the street, be prepared for the constant noise in the evenings by the italn toursits who come to escape the heat below. also, the air conditioning isn-t that great.however, the staff bends backward to try an accomate u. the kitchen staff r friendly and remember what u like. i had a latte served every morn without asking. heavenly. the breakfast isn-t much, but enough, and the dinners were very good. the lobby is albsoulty charming, with lots of books and artwork. love to watch the waiters, who r very animated and pleasant.
