wonderful experience

we stayed here 5 years ago. it was just a short walk from the Ferrovia train station.
we didn't have to take a water bus. we stayed on the third floor, shared a bathroom
with maybe 3 other rooms on the same floor.
It never was a problem. we paid 80 euros per night for a 3 night stay.
all the people who ran the front desk were extremely knowledgeable about music events,
restaurants, history, etc. I love Vivaldi, and they were able to sell me tickets to a concert of Concerti Veneziani,in Chiesa San
Vidal- absolutely the best concert I ever had the pleasure to attend. It was a long walk or waterbus ride to Piazza San Marco,
which gave us the opportunity to explore
places off the beaten path. I forgot to mention that we had no fan the first night,
so we were hot, until they brought up the fan the next day. The breakfast was the standard croissants and espresso. The hotel is located in a small square also called San Geremia. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were cleaned every day. I hope the place is still the same, if I manage to return in future.
