I'm going back next year.
I have stayed in Both hotels, Copacabana on 3rd Ave and almost 42nd st in Miramar, just two blocks away from I used to lived till 1997 that I emigrated to Las Vegas, NV. I have come back to Cuba 4 times since then and I actually had the opportunity to saty at Both of them, before I came because I had friends from Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston and Miami travelling to Cuba, even violating at that time the unexcusable embargo against the caribbean island, and while Iiving here I went to visit my mother, family and friends. They are completly different, designed with different purposes(find out about it, so have another reason to go), but prices are afforable, services have improved a lot since 1992 that I went the first time, through the 90s to 2005 that I went for the last time. They are clean, both right on the ocean, with perfect tropical weather almost all year around, quite a bit of rain during september, october and november. If you are from the north Of USA or Canada, you will enjoy december, january and feb, it'll be like summer for you guys. Location just less than 15 minutes from El VEDADO, considered the downtown and 25 minutes from Old Havana, where the Capitol of La Habana is located( replica of the US Capitol in DC). Dinning go to El Floridita, where Ernest Heminway used to drink daykiris or La bodeguita del Medio, near by The Cathedral Square. The Copacabana night club is a bit crowded on the weekends, but find out w/ the locals where to go dancing or just get in touch with me. You won't regret it. Beautiful, pleasent and virgin to american investment. It is called The Pearl OF the Antillas for a reason. Enjoy it
