This hotel is a good choice for those who wish to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Although some would perhaps say that its distance from the city centre, a USD10 to USD15 taxi ride away, is one of its disadvantages, there is a free mini-bus service, twice a day, into the old colonial quarter of “La Habana Vieja”. There is nothing to compare to the peace and quiet that surrounds the marina, a neighborhood where one can also find everything from a pharmacy to travel agencies, clubs, restaurants and bars; there are even boats available for hire to take a trip around the bay. The hotel also caters to the recreational needs of family groups.
