I loved this cute lil hotel. The rooms were immaculate and from what the cleaning staff has told me is that it is slowly being upgraded. We stayed years ago in the older block but have since stayed in the kitchenettes and i tell you, I am very impressed with the cleanliness and the great service we have received. The service was quick and the housekeeping of our room was very thorough. Years ago the cleanliness could have been better but now that there are new owners, and looks to be new cleaning staff, I recommend this home away from home. It's a good price, it's just off the highway, and this is my stop over of choice for sure. Two thumbs up and kudos to the service and the cleaning staff.
We have stayed at this motel for years but the last 2 trips in Dec2011 and Jan 2012 were a big disappointment - the room was clean enough - bathroon great - but the beds were terrible - after the first visit in Dec we complained to the owners - very sorry - come back will make sure to get a room with better beds - next visit beds were no better - clerk on said all the beds were like that - also the heat was not on in the room and it took over 3 hours for the room to heat up to 20 degrees room was 10 degres when we got there - asked for a porbable heater - clerk on duty couldn't give me on as they were locked up and she didn't have a key - we have never had bad beds until these last 2 trips - averaged 2 - 3 hours sleep each night - cannot drive 8 hours on that little sleep so we will not stay there again - 71.00 for crappy beds twice - never again
If you want to pretend you are a time traveller and really liked the motels in the late 70's, this is the place for you. If you want to pretend you are in an episode of CSI, lay on the floor and play dead. If you want any part of your experience to include the word "modern" go somewhere else. The Ranchmen Motel is perfect if you don't want anything fancy, just an unimpressive room at a great price.
We just stayed there and i have to say i was a little nervous staying at a place that had half their sign working...It actually said Ran Me...LOL....But i was totally surprised....it was so clean and nice.....I Thought it was a great place to stay....I am staying there again in a few days
I liked everything. When I was checking in and out, the service was lightning fast. Everything was perfect. I felt like I was at home! I am very picky about where I go but my friend recommended this motel to me. I think this place is a 5 star motel and the best motel found in Alberta.
I LOVED THIS MOTEL it is excellent it really has good service with excellent frienly people and i vant wait to go back the rooms are very very clean and confrotable iit is very nice any person who wants to have an excellent stay shoud come here!!!!
