Alpine Village, Lac Ste Anne County

During our stay we looked at other accomodations and felt very good about selecting Alpine Village. You can see only so much on the internet. Very clean and friendly.

This was our second trip in Jasper and we even tooks some friends with us. We were very impressed with the cabins as they were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The open fire place was fantastic. I recommend these cabins to anyone and if we ever come back to Jasper we will be staying at the Alpine Village. M & M from Australia (Melbourne)

We booked a cabin in the Alpine Village for our 40th anniversary. This was the fourth or fifth time we have been there; we always found it good. The cabins are clean and rustic. Just the type of varnished log cabin you dream of staying in while in the mountains. The family that owns it lives on the premises, which makes you feel a bit more secure. It is out of town, so therefore quiet, and on the river and very scenic. Our daughter had been in Jasper the week before and left a gift basket for us for the staff to put in our cabin. She was a bit worried about leaving it, but she needn't have. The owners had it safely waiting for us in our cabin when we checked in and a card a little gift from them as well. We wanted to borrow a toaster and the owner brought one right away and was very pleasant to us. Book as early as you can - it is very popular. It made our 40th ruby anniversary very special to stay here. Thank you

This smaller, family run business is a wonderful change from the chains we stayed at durring our trip. Don't expect everything to be the same as when you stay at the "Holiday ---", expect more character, more friendly and personable service from the local staff, and a real attention to detail in the cleanliness and decore. The office did close at 10:00 and there were no phones, but who needs these when you have a fireplace, a great view, great guests and tones of things to do. We are determined to find more family run hotels on our future trips and are telling everyone about Alpine Village and our wonderful stay.
