Shame about unruly children!

Overall the staff at the hotel could not be faulted. The bar and dinning staff where spot on. The Animicion Team (Cristina, Cristian, Alex and Helena) did an excellent job with day time activities and also with the evening shows they put on. Some were not to my taste but then again when the shows are free there can be no complaints. The Kids Club reps were also very good (Charlotte, Emma, Maria and Alan who has now left) they put a lot of time and effort into entertaining the 3 different age groups they took (2 hours everyday except on Fridays).
The downside to this holiday was unruly children. They were left to run about and get in other people's way. Running up and down the corridors at night and having to put up with blaring television sets at all times of the day and night (that was not just children!) and having to listen to adults shouting.
The poolside lacked a lifeguard / member of staff watching for children dive bombing or fighting with foam sticks which was a bit much as the pool is not that big. The travel brochure and the hotel's own information booklet did state that there was a lifeguard but there was none whilst we were there.
The resort is only a ten minute walk from the hotel with plenty of shops, bars and cafes. The mini train is a must and good value for 1.80 euros (45 minute round trip).
This could be a very good holiday if parents looked after their children and not leave them to their own devices!
