Peletier Haussmann Opera, Paris

we reserved this hotel on the internet viewing just the photos and were pleasantly pleased. location was very close to 2 metro stops and a wonderful cafe (the cordial cafe). the hotel is staffed at all times by very pleasant men that assisted us with our baggage and any needs we had. the elevator is very tiny so is used primarily to get your bags to your floor but the stairs are the main access for you to your rooms. being american i felt that things were smaller and my friend who lived in france for a time said that was very common. the room was good for two people and the beds were extremely comfortable. maid service was done daily and i was very comfortable leaving my items in the room. the one recommendation is to bring your own hairdryer as the one in the room is very weak. overall i found it a very good choice for the price and am going back in march to the same place! i recommend room 411 as its inside the building so no street noise and very quiet.
