A nice hotel!
This hotel is really small!
First thing you notice is that the hotel is secured with an electric gate - you call - they open up. Then you have to climb steep staircase (only one floor) to the really tiny Lobby.
The rooms are tiny but very clean and romantic. We had Room 12 - which had a tiny bathroom - probably they converted the closet into a bathroom. The shower was small and it was difficult to move in it. Every time you move you accidently turn the water off, or bang against the wall.
I loved the wooden window medieval-like shutters by the window. They are locked with a bar - it looks like it came from a different century. There was no view from the room's window though, you only get to see is a wall of a noisey venician alley with drunk tourists. If you are sensetive to noise - you'll have to close it. There was air condtioning in the room but it did work so well - it sometimes got too hot in the room - and then I had to open the window which brings in a cool refreshing breeze but also noisy tourists.
Big minus for the hotel is that there is no breakfast with the accomodation - you have to pay 10 Euros extra for it. We didn't take it - we got breakfast down the Coffee shops for half the price.
We paid 140 Euros a night - which comes out 70 per person. Too pricey for me - since september is already past the rush season - but Venice, however, was as always full of tourists.
