Mayflower Hotel, Leiden

There's not much competition in the same price range in Leiden so you take what you get. The brochure said all rooms included breakfast, but when I showed up for breakfast, I was told there would be a charge because the brochure information was old. The room was in the annex, over a street snack bar, not clean, tv didn't work and no one cared. It was the most expensive room I had in the Netherlands and did not compare with the others, not only for price, but for charm, cleanliness, comfort and consideration from the staff.
