Great stay at the Asterisk

Great location quiet but in the citycenter Never had a bigger room in any other hotel Did not like the rain... Amsterdam has a GREAT nightlife Major museums within walking distance

I recently stayed there while my "regular" hotel was being renovated and found the Asterisk a fine little ** place... small but functional room, some with wc/shower (shower and wc down the hall) and some with just a sink... but ya gets what ya pays for... and the price is right for a hotel with lift in a good neighborhood... convenient to the trams, the market, nightlife and museums... a good value for money. has wifi in whole building and a small lift.

In a quiet street nice big rooms we had room 22 Everything is in walking distance like the museums and nightlife lot os coffeeshop around Friendly receptionist rooms were always clean and done every day

Cozy, Friendly, Central

The Asterisk Hotel in central Amsterdam is a marvelous respite from a busy day sightseeing in the city. Located on a quiet side street but close to all transportation and sites, this family-run hotel is a little bit of home, a welcome oasis. The staff are helpful and friendly without being intrusive. This hotel is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Breakfast is warm and delicious, service prompt. The rooms are very clean and all amenities are available for a low-mid priced place. If you're looking for a hotel that's reasonable and has local flavor, this is it. If we ever go back to Amsterdam, this is where we'll stay again! Highly recommended.
