Poplars Motor Inn, Coonabarabran

Excellent service from owners, very clean, great pool area. Highly recommended. Phong and Collina went out of there way constantly to make our Christmas visit perfect. Phong would get us things we wanted and we didnt even have to ask. They are great cooks and Phongs lamb is like nothing else I have ever tasted. The rooms are spacious and Santa found us nicely. The pool was awesome and with 4 rooms of our family staying here we were in it everyday. We couldnt have asked for better.

No dislikes here only likes; new carpet, freshly painted rooms, huge rooms, peaceful and quiet, wonderful managers and very reasonable rates. How in the heck did this place get 2.5 stars, I have stayed in the 2.5ers (travel with work) and they do not hold a candle to this motel. Well worth a visit and a stay, it is my regular motel when staying at Coonabarbran.

My cousin and I stayed there over Easter and Phong and Collina were wonderful and friendly hosts. They went out of the way to make our stay special eg. Easter eggs, newspapers etc. The rooms were spacious and clean and there was a lovely view from the back window. The lamb chops for breakfast were delicious.

What a pleasure to stay in a place where the hosts made you feel like your were the only person at the motel.. Room was immaculate - clean, fresh smelling, comfortable, good Air con. Conference room also excellent. Lunch smoko and conference dinners superb quality food and service. At $68 per night exceptional value. Without doubt the best motel I've stayed in countyry NSW. Congatulations Phong and Collina.

The friendly atmosphere drew us in straight away. Great service, lovely rooms that have been renovated since new owner 3 years ago. (Such a turn around from when we last stayed) It is obvious the new owners have a passion for hospitality. Highly recommended.

Stayed here again, what a lovely place. these people obviously love their job. thay are so friendly and helpful. Clean rooms that smell fresh. Comfortable beds an plenty of hot water. a great night.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was huge, freshly painted, new carpet, reverse cycle air con, clean and the bed was comfortable. What a bonus!! We found the service very friendly and the restaurant had great meals. The best steak we have had in years. Will be dropping back in on our next trip through this pretty little town. Great value for money.
