I would love to take my family there
By memmo, 9/22/09
My dad was a friend of the Ruff's (maybe from years of staying there) every time he had a flight to Baguio since it's so close to the Loakan Airport. We stayed here not only coz of the proximity but coz of the coziness of the place and the hospitality of the staff. I had really good memories of this place. I remember loving to play by the fireplace. I didn't even feel like I was in the Philippines when we stayed here. It seemed like we were somewhere in Lake Tahoe or some mountain spot in the US. I would love to take my family there and share with my kids a piece of my childhood.

Reminiscing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/4/09
I was there with a friend way back in the mid or late 70's during college. Sylvia Ruff (daughter-in-law of the Ruffs), a friend and classmate in college (Nat Sci-SLU) invited us over. I tell you, as the first poster mentioned, it's a cozy place. Of course, we did not spend the night but we did have lunch and toured the place. It's beautiful! I may be mistaken, but I remember seeing either Pepito Rodriguez or Dindo Fernando, both actors then, at Ruff Inn. I plan to bring my family to Baguio for a visit. They've heard a lot about it from me. I've shown them pics, but I'm sure they'll fall in love with it. Go visit. You will not regret it! Anyway, Sylvia, if you are reading this, it's me, S. Trinidad, we were in several classes in Biology. Caridad Trinidad (may she rest in peace) was my aunt. Chiao. BTW, I entered 2004 as my visit year, but it was actually in the late 70's I think when I was there.

it is a very cozy place amidst the mountainous terrain. the fireplace is great for having a hot cup of chocolate before retiring. it's like being at home.
