Really nice hotel!

I stayed here with 2 frends, all of us 17, along with one frends family with a 5 year old boy, and we all thought the hotel was really good.
The rooms were fine for what we wanted, perfect size for 3 people. It had a really powerful shower in the bathroom and a balkony with a gd view of the beach. It was cleaned rele well everyday- our maid was so friendly and hardworking, the room was spotless!
The food was one of the nicest things about the hotel- if we'd gone all inclusive i would of returned double the size! Theres loads to chose from and all the waiters jump to your every need, they even allow you to take food to your room if some of your group fancy a lie in!
Another big bonus is that its sooo cheap, i went to tunisia last year too and stayed in Mahdia and it was so much more expensive than this hotel! The hotel is around 50p for 1litre of water and 60p for a big coke, but outside the hotel u can get 2litres for about 30p (just be careful the hotel dnt see you hehe), the shop has loads of cool stuff and roughly the same price as outside of the hotel
The nightlife appears to be good- a big club called living 2 mins from the hotel aswel as lots of other bars. However, we found it annoying when leaving the hotel at night because of the tunisian men (hardly any tunisian women in sight!), but most seam pretty harmless
The 'medina' (big market place) is 10 min taxi from the hotel- and only like 4 dinar (under 2) and is great fun for getting cheap stuff, just beware again of the locals dragging you into their shops, (cover up when you go)
The beach by the hotel is really nice and the sunbeds were free (even though we were told we had to pay no-one asked) Theres a nice cafe at the back of the beach where you can get really cheap pizzas, pancakes etc for lunch. I didnt go in the swimming pool as i prefer the sea. The pool looked alrite, but i prefered the look of the 2 either side in each of the neighbouring hotels (which you culd freely use)
Every night the hotel put on entertainment- the 5 year old i went with loved the 'mini discos' and the animation staff were very enthusiastic. Some of the entertainment seamed a bit wierd tho- a 'golden girls' transvestite show on sundays? I went for 2 weeks and a lot of the entertainment was repeated each week so it could get boring, but there are other things to do. They also put on a 'miss marhaba beach' which was very entertaining!
Overall i really enjoyed my stay at the marhaba beach, everyone there was very friendly and it was great value for money for the hotel and the food in the area, i would definately go back!
