Albany Hotel, Ethekwini

We stayed at the Albany Hotel over the December holidays. The hotel offered great value for money as the rates are very reasonable and the rooms are well appointed. The hotel is recently extensively renovated and the rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. The bathrooms are in marble! The staff were friendly and courteous, knowledgable when asked re local attractions. The breakfast selection was generous and delicious. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to others.

The staff were very courteous and well located near the International convention Centre and expo site, 5 min to cricket and 7 min to rugby stadiums. The breakfast was full buffet.Also serve waffles, croissants scones etc nice for my kids. The room was newly renovated (Jan08) and bathrooms all in Marble! There is also satellite tv etc and complimentary beverage maker. We paid R250 per person sharing, Our children are under 2 so it was free for them I will definetly stay again

The hotel is newly renovated with spacious bedrooms and great views of the the City and surrounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is generous in selection and flavour. It is close to the ICC and City Hall. It is located in a good part of the CBD with the Natal Playhouse next door. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
