Cathering Rest House is part of the J. Stanley-Owusu Group of Companies. The layout is like chalets. We had a pleasant experience. People are very polite and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The price is good since you get the same amenities as a 4 star hotel in Ghana. Has small game room and live band in the evenings. The restaurant food is excellent! We didn't use the hairdresser at the salon but we were told the "barber" was good.
The only suggestion is that they need to decorate the place to have more of the African experience feel and more of a motel/hotel than the single family homes look. We will definitely go back again on our next visit.
The restaurant seem to be the best in town. Their Tuesday local dish was extra O!!. I will be back next summer. The rooms were very good with the new air conditions. I love the little kitchen by the suite.
