good location, bad isolation
Based on what we heard before our trip to Sardinia, we expected a little bit more for the pricetag. I guess it is an OK hotel for 3 stars, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the receptionsist all know english - contrary to what I think I saw posted here before. Maybe the restaurant staff could be more professional, it also seemed to me that they are to many of them, doing not much, the breakfast is very limited - for a longer stay might be a problem.
The location is indeed excelent, probably the best in town as for the distance to the beach (50m - no showers on the beach, 20EUR/day for 2 beds and 1 umbrella) and to citycenter (150m).
The biggest concern was the phonic isolation, out of 10 nights, we couldn't sleep 5 due to various noisy neighbours at late hours - on the hallway, left, right or above. Late meaning 1.00 - 2.00 AM, we gave up trying to sleep before 11.00 PM or midnight. If you are with kid(s) as we were, that is a problem. We also caught a music festival of which the highlight was music on the beach .... at 5.30 AM. (did I mention the 50 m distance :-)?)
It is actually very nice if you don't mind waking up.
