Hotel Metropole Bellagio, Bellagio

At first the Hotel Metropole seemed quite noisy, with the clanging of car ferries nearby. But over the course of a few days, as we settled into the rhythm of Bellagio, the coming and going of a ferry became part of the charm of Lake Como. The hotel is clean and quite pleasant all in all, if you don't come in and expect a modern, super deluxe property. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The best part of the Metropole was its location and how easy it made it to explore Bellagio and the surrounding Lake Como towns. No need for a car when boats to points all around the lake are just a short stroll from the hotel's lobby. The scenary of Lake Como is so amazing that you find yourself just staring across the water. With small balconies overlooking the lake, the Metropole is a pleasant enough place to do just that.
