Lime Tree Hotel, London

If you like large, impersonal hotels where you are just a room number, the Lime Tree isn't for you. On the other hand, if you want a clean comfortable room, a friendly helpful staff, and an excellent breakfast served with smiles all round in a nicely decorated dining room, you will be very happy you booked into the Lime Tree. It is owned and run by the Davies family, who take a friendly interest in all their guests and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. So do their staff. I have stayed there every year since 2000, and I never made a request that was not handled cheerfully and efficiently. There probably isn't a more conveniently located property in Central London than the Lime Tree. It is 5 minutes or less from Victoria rail station, Victoria tube station, Victoria bus station, and Victoria coach station. It is an easy walk to many of the "must-see" tourist attractions, such as Buckingham Palace and Westminister Abbey. Quality shops abound for shopping enthusiasts. I promise you will love the Lime Tree. Just don't go booking my room when I want it, okay?
