Gran Hotel Paris, La Ceiba

Dinner was very good and reasonably priced, room clean, service good. Pool nice, central location.

LOOK EVERY PLACE YOU GO EXPENSIVE OR NOT SOME ONE ALWAYS COMPLAINS ABOUT SOMETHING BUT THIS HOTEL HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED AROUND YOU THE SERVICE MAYBE WEAK BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT THE FOOD IS AWESOME FOR THE PRICE THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND SMELL GREAT THE BAR HAS AN EXCELLENT BARTENDERS AND VERY HONEST I GO EVERY YEAR FOR THE CARNAVAL IN MAY ITS LIKE A MINI MARDI GRAS BUT BETTER MORE PARTIES AND CONCERTS GREAT FOOD FROM OTHER COUNTRIES THE SECURITY AT THE HOTEL IS GREAT THE GUARD WE CAME IN ALL TIMES OF THE NIGHT I HE WAS ALWAYS AT THE DOOR WAITING ON US AIR CONDITIONER BLOWS COLD AIR THEY EVEN HAVE THIER OWN BUFFET PLACE ON THE OPPSITE SIDE OF PIZZA HUT THIER AND INTERNET PLACE NEXT DOOR WHERE YOU PAY $1.00 LEMPIRA A MINUTE IN THE U.S. YOU PAY $20.00 FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES

Is a nice Hotel The personal Is very Friendly,and they try to make you feel like home the price is 44$ for a single room 83$ for a suite for 4 people but they give discount to touristics groups so if you have plans to go Honduras give them a call i use to stay there and maybe is not a perfect hotel but they always listen to you is you got a request and look for a answer and besides there is not a most central located hotel in la ceiba you will have all the stores and markets near to you!

The rate for the hotel is up...we paid $77 for 2 adults and 1 child (worth about $30 or so). The staff was friendly enough and did set up our taxis for the next day. The doorman was slow with the luggage (we carried most of it ourselves to get it to the room as we had a late night check-in). The room was close to the pool/bar area that played loud music at least until midnight, even though only one person was in the area. The comforters seemed old and soiled although we didn't see any visible dirt or mud. My pillow was very old, hard and lumpy. The air conditioner was so loud it almost drowned out the music from the pool area but not quite. The air wasn't cooled sufficiently with the setting on the coldest possible. The bathroom was very small. While sitting on the toilet, my knees were almost in the shower and I am only 5'10". I recommend staying at a different hotel if at all possible. This was my second time to stay here. I didn't like it the first time and liked it even less this time. Unfortunately, a friend booked the room and I didn't know where we were staying until we pulled into the parking lot at 11pm. If I had known, we would have gone elsewhere. With the price, I felt ripped off with this stay.

I traveled with 3 women friends from the Bay Islands for an overnight shopping trip. We were very well accomodated by the staff. When we arrived from our daily shopping they were very helpful and stored some of our hard to handle packages in a secured closet and brought the rest to our room. The poolside was very nice, we enjoyed a glass of wine and snacks. The mixed (exotic) drinks were inexpensive. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable, and designed for long legged people. When we were getting ready to leave they helped us secure our packages and put them into the taxi. These four women are going back.

I had a nice time at Hotel Paris. Our room was clean and the A.C. was fine. The food at the restuarant was quite good and modestly priced. The Restuarant service was as good as any place I have ever been. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, don't travel to Honduras. Furthermore they have a great downtown location. I would feel comfortable if my mother stayed there. What more can I say.
