Verney House Hotel, Montego Bay

I have my Mom birthday Party there , i have no regrets the hospitiality is off the chain the food the best, the staff, the place, not to mention the owners Mr&Mrs Sterling they are very kind and loving i love them they are like my parent.. The hospitality here is second to none. They honestly make you feel at home and you couldn't ask for a better location. This is our home away from home every time we go to MoBay.

I've been there twice in march and may of 2010. I love it and I am going back in July. What I love most about this place is the privacy and the hospitality. Being that this hotel is only 5 mins away from the airport and town makes it even nicer. The pool is great and clean. The bar is also good. The owners Mr and Ms Sterling are good people I love them dearly. If u want a nice peaceful get away, this is the place to be. I recommend it to couples who just want to relax in a quiet enviornment.

I was very impressed & satisfied with my husbands choice of place to have our wedding 8/1/09 @ Verney House is a very homely and pleasant environment.The wedding set up was elegant,yet simple.We were very pleased with everything.The hospitality and genuiness of the Sterlings and staff was great.Clean and peaceful atmosphere.We plan to return next year for our wedding Anniversary.Special THANKS to Mrs Sterling(Kathy) from "your little girl"Kathy.

Our church group was first introduced to the Verney House in 2006 through a short term mission project in Montego Bay. I was very pleased with the Hotel and we have continued to stay there every year since. We have made lifelong friends with the Sterling’s, Doreen and Juline. They will do anything to make your stay a good one. The food is awesome and true Jamaican. There is nothing bad I can say about the Verney House, except there is no ocean view. If you are looking for a place to experience true Jamaica, give the Verney House a try. Ask for Doreen, tell her Doug sent you!

Hospitality, securiy, and a well kept tropical landscape are keen at the Verney House. A million thanks to the Sterlings and their staff for everything. As I reflect on my visit, I smile knowing that your venue ranks among the best. I especially enjoyed selecting specially prepared cuisine and the beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. Also, thanks to my friend and because the Verney House is located so close to downtown, I toned my leg muscles occasionally walking to local sites. I highly recommend this place ... well worth the time and money. Looking forward to returning to the Verney House and Jamaica..

What I like most about this place? the people, food, and the atmosphere created by staffs and the owners. Mr and Mrs Stirling are indeed like a family member to me. They have always extended an array of warmth and genuineness towards me whenever I am there. For each of my visits I am always excited to see them and like a child cannot wait to see them as soon as I arrived from the airport. The staffs are equally nice, caring and indeed super helpful when it comes to organising my meals or breakfast. Jackie, the chef and Elaine are the best for this. Doreen and Juleen and the music professor I have not forgotten you both because the smooth running of hotel cannot go without saying 'EXCELLENT'. Mrs and Mrs stirling are very luck that they have such dedicated and caring staffs. Folks I will be back soon and I would always sing my praises to you all at verney house. A word to all potential holiday makers "MAKE THIS FAMILY ENVIRONMENT THE CHOICE AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST"

Mr and Mrs. Sterling run a wonderful hotel. More like a B&B. Juleen is the best. Request the porridge, tel them Maury from Mission Discovery said hi!

I must say i have stayed in some of the world's most beatiful hotels and i have yet to recieve the kind of hospitality and kindness that i have gotten here...i will return in the future.
