Bar-B-Barn Beach Hotel, Negril

Loved the location and that it was a smaller venue, it gave you a better experience of Negril. The staff was awesome, Charisse the bartender and Mike in security were awesome. The maintenance staff was very pleasant and friendly . The rooms needed cosmetic work though, cabinets in bathroom falling apart, missing lightbulbs, but the Ac worked great. Will for go back to there again.

I loved this place...everyone was very nice and the food was great!! Our room was right off the beach and the bartender was REALLY nice!! Definitely go back!!

Shower didn't work, waited 2 hours to be served dinner, bugs in the room and in the bed, poor tourism caused them to skimp on ammentities and the restaurant frequently was out of a lot of their, maid service was very slow (like everything else), loud music late at night, 8 AM wake up call when the maids used the broken washer/dryer that shook the entire complex. The hotel is located in a great location and even with the problems we had we would probably go back.

where we have our doubts about.....we asked at the reception if we could leave our postcards there...to post them..it was 6 dec 2006... it was oke, but still nobody here in holland has a postcard.....so we wonder.... and we don't like it. Still we are hoping the cards (many new year wishes) will arrive this week.... other people we met there, told their postcards were only 8 days in the air before they arrived...but from the postoffice in negril!! not from bar b barn...Please find them and send them!!! we want to trust you!! My husband and I visited Bar B Barn twice we enjoyed it so much, we're going again in December to bring in the New Year. Norman is the owner and he makes you feel so welcome. His staff is wonderful also. The hotel is clean the food is excellent, beautiful white sand beaches, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Complimentary breaksfast! What more can you ask for when you go on vacation, I can truly say Bar B Barn will be my place to stay whenever I go to Negril.
