La Quinta Inn Texarkana, Texarkana

Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable and inexpensive. I don't know what more you would ask for in a motel room. The breakfast was good, too. We would definitely stay here again.

Didn't even go. Website quotes one price, then operator gives a higher 1. When she looked at site the story changed again. What a waste of time.

Staff was unattentive. Except when drunk hanging out at the pool Friday night that is intended for guests. The males made advances on young girls under 14 yrs of age. One of our famlies had a room that would not lock, when reported to the staff no changes in rooms or fixing the lock were made. Definetly not a family place or properly run motel.

for the price i wasn't sure what to expect. we were pleasantly surprised. the lobby was clean as were the rooms. the bright side breakfast hit the spot. i've stayed at more expensive hotels and had to pay for breakfast,not here. my daughter enjoyed the free nintendo 64 and the movies. the friendly staff rounded out our stay.

I asked for a room I could park in front of to start with, to make unloading easier. I've had spine surgery and heart surgery so I thought being closer would help. So we were put by the pool, 40 yards from the nearest parking. The desk said nothing else was available, but we spent the evening watching people checking in and parking in front of their rooms. The room was non smoking but had a smoke odor. People jumping into the pool till 10PM. Even asking directions to a place to eat seemed to be asking too much. We were treated like just being there was too much trouble for them. The breakfast matched their attitude...nothing left an hour before end time but an apple and cereal. I was paying for a room and maybe just a little courtesy, maybe someone being a little happy we were spending our money there instead of down the road...something!!! We got a room, and a lot of people who seemed to be wishing they were someplace else, doing something else. We wish they were someplace else too!! If we stay in the area again, we will cross the line to Arkansas...at least the people in Denny's, next door to Texarkana, Arkansas LaQuinta, were very friendly. Bottom line...the Texarkana, Texas LaQuinta staff has a serious attitude problem, and should be replaced.
