Holiday Inn Park Central, Port Arthur

When in Port Arthur, this is the place to stay. We have stayed in this hotel for the past 4 years when visiting Port Arthur. We are continue to be impressed with the friendly people and service we recieve.

This has to be the best place to stay in Port Arthur. The hotel itself was very pretty and very clean. The staff were some of the friendliest around and very accommodating. The food was awesome and I hear they are concocting some new delectable dishes for business meetings and catering. I can't wait to go back and try some of their new dishes. My compliments to the chef(s)!!

I had some reservations about renting a room in the Port Arthur area because of Hurricane Rita's affect on many of the businesses in the area. I had planned to go to Beaumont but decided to try this hotel. I was extremely pleased and well satisfied. I checked-in close to midnight and had no problems. The hotel is undergoing renovations but this did not effect the quaility of my stay. The room was very clean and did not have any smells. It appears that there the walls were recently painted. My check-in experience had something to be desired. The clerk was somewhat absent minded at the moment. My check-out experience was great. Two people were eager to help me. I plan to stay at this location in the future. By the way, it is located on the main freeway which takes you into Beaumont or further south if needed. Good location.

Really nice people and great food not like other hotels and their foods.
