Our Favorite Galleria Area Hotel
By ,
It's like a park in the middle of business/shopping area. Extremely friendly and helpful staff; comfortable rooms. My daughter and I have taken long-weekend shopping trips to Houston for over 25 years and this is our favorite hotel. With special rates on Trip Advisor it's a great value!

Great Stay!
By ,
The honey and I stayed at this location for Memorial Day Weekend. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff. The lobby alone was big and beautiful. Our room was on the 8th floor it was a nice comfortable size and the bathroom was very nice; no tub, but a wonderful, open, glass shower with a overhead shower-head. The only cons that we found was that the noise level from the downstairs restaurants and lounge was so loud, we could hear it in our room. So my advice, join the party downstairs too! They sounded like they were having a blast! I suggest looking for deals online through a third-party. The price I received from Priceline was a lot less the the quoted price listed on the hotel's site. I look forward to staying again this October!

POOR Night Life - Wet Dance Floor
By ,
For the last three Saturday nights I came to the Black Swan night club for some dancing and each Saturday night I was surrounded by gleefull teeny boppers barely of legal age, the girls were wearing sandals on the dance floor, coveting their purses while they danced and most annoying was the management and DJ allowing the dancers to dance with their drinks on the dance floor. You could see that the expensive wood floor was damaged and needed to be replaced because of this practice, not to mention me slipping on the wet floor because of the dancers spilling their drinks. I would say this is due to inattentive management/DJ. I am surprised no one has fallen on the floor and sued them yet. And is this an Omni or a four seasons hotel? the elevator had the four seasons logo etched into the door. What is up with that?

Fantastic stay and cheerful staff!
By ,
My two young daughters and I just returned from a stay booked through a discount service. We could not have been more pleased with all aspects of the hotel. The pool is stunning and chic, the rooms very comfortable and tasteful, and the beds almost better than our expensive mattress at home! We had room service breakfast each day and not only was the food great, but the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We did not encounter one employee with anything other than a smile on their face the whole week!!! We highly recommend the Omni! We did not get to use the town car they provide to take you to the Galleria or other convenient Houston locations, but it seemed like a nice amenity. One last thing: if you drive or have a rental car, don't bother with the valet or self parking right at the entrance. We saved quite a bit by parking in the office tower parking (legit and mentioned by the hotel staff when I asked about free parking options) and walking a few yards through the grounds...

Good nature
By ,
Recommendable to stay in the weekend where enjoy urban holiday. Sunday branch is wonderful that apitizer including oysters, superb main dish like grilled robster tail or Lamb steak, tasteful dessert, and glasses of champagne(included in menu). So this 37 dollars' branch is such value as 1 hour jogging in the beautiful memorial park before this branch. Note that staffs are quite frendly.

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL
By ,
Well overall the property was great and one employee named Martin at the front Desk was great. This guy is one of the main reason we will stay at the property again. We did have several problems with billing and being over charged. The problems were corrected hoever it became a habit. Other staff members were also great, and the food provided was also great. Certain instances of employee rudeness came about regarding the billing issues, however Martin at the front desk was great on correcting the errors. Anyone that stays at the Omni please request Martin for anything that you may need.

Location, Location, Location and more...much more
By ,
Elegance with a personal touch...thats the Omni...with bicycle rides around the wooded property and the ducks in the pond to dining by candlelight and you are close to everything Houston has to offer only minutes from shopping at the Galleria and a very short drive to all sports arenas. When you return from a hard days shopping or a exhausting and exciting game you are enveloped in the comfort and security that only Omni can offer.

We stayed here for our wedding night and thought the hotel was fabulous. The price was very reasonable for the accomodations, and we had an excellent view. The staff was friendly and prompt and adequately met our needs.
