BATHROOM DISGUSTING!!!
By KeKe, 5/13/11
Upon arriving at the hotel we were greated by DT who was EXTREMELY friendly and excorted up to the elevator so that we could get to our room on the 19th floor. The lobby of the hotel was very beautiful. The room looked lovely when we entered and my husband and I were very impressed. The problem appeared when we entered the bathroom. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. My husband wanted to go across the street to Target to buy bleach and other cleaning supplies. There was alot of hair on the floor and the tub didn't appear to be clean. We had a very nice stay but bring cleaning supplies with you for the bathroom if you book this hotel!

Hilton Memphis isnt worth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/16/11
Hilton Memphis is a beautiful place inside and out, but looks can be deceiving. Upon arrival, we were greated with politeness by "one" of four receptionist. We were escorted to our room on the 23rd floor by the bell hop who was more than friendly. The room was very nice (appearence). However, they were NOT furnished with refridgerators or microwaves. We had to go two floors up to get ice for our ice bucket. The hotel did provide complimentary water, that if you drank, your charge card would be debited $4.50 per bottle of water. Hilton Memphis IS NOT as close to Beale Street as we thought, and there isn't anything to do in the area. For the price of this hotel, and the outcome of the stay, we should have stayed Downtown like we had originally planned.

Good and Bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/7/10
We come to this hotel for a dance convention usually once a year. We have had both bad and good experiences here...The 1st time we stayed the air condition did not work and with glass windows all the way around it is a must...Got really hot....Second time room was great but there was to be a 3 oclock check in and it was 6 pm before we got a room, we were suppose to have the girls ready for a dance competition at 5:30 pm....makes it hard to dress them and get their makeup done with no room. (They have to know how many people care coming but never seem to have enought stay to hand the influx, EVER). We had a room with a flooded hall one year that was fun....(not) The hotel is not convienent to the downtown attractions...but the rooms are nice. Parking is free which is a plus because downtown hotels charge by the day....We are coming down again this July hope that they have their Act together

Don"t Do IT! Memphis Hilton A Joke
By hostile, 6/30/10
We arrived and our room was not ready, we were given the run around, then when we did get in the room, we had unpacked and laid on the beds and were called and told to move out that room because of plumbing problems on that floor. Come to find out everyone else was still in their rooms we were moved because of a bed bug infestation. We had laid on the beds and unpacked all of our belongings. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Insulted us by saying the best they could do dry clean our clothes and send us to the hospital if needed. THe front desk manager was very rude. They put us through hell while we were there. Moved us to another floor, we order room service and the food was cold and horrible we were give our money back for the terrible food and only half our money back for our room. We were suppose to have been put on a VIP list which we knew nothing about. THE floor they put us on started smeling like BM and we were then convienced that we will never stay at their hotel again. THE owners of the HILTON needs to be ashamed of themselves for the circus that charges outrageous money for no star rated service. THe killing part about it was this was our first time staying at any of their hotel and it won't happen again. They say your first impression is the most important well here it is. They are not recommendable to any of our associates or family. THE rooms are small, the location is okay far as shopping centers, the value could have gotten a better value in service and bigger rooms at the cheaper hotels and been treated like celebrities. The fact we were ther for a conference sys a whole lot and the money that ws spent for those rooms was not worth it. The room accomadations were not to expectations we were give misleading information. They re suppose to be a 5 star hotel and they can not even get on the path of 5 star they are rated -5 for our overall stay. We travel 8 hours to get such poor service and treatment get real. IT will never happen again. We were exposed to and infesttion tht feeds off of flesh, we were down talked and rudely talked too, given alot of BS and that just is not acceptable when you are spending $500 for a room, ROOK'S Corner should have been called CROOKS Corner. If you do not want to be disappointed don't do it.

Wont Stay again!!
By Sean, 4/17/10
Booked King Deluxe, arrived and they had given the last king deluxe to a walk in non reservation, (why make reservations) settled for 2 queen beds. 3 hrs after check in, was moved to another room, because they were working on the room next to us, and didnt bother to tell us. Booked the original room with the breakfast included, practically had to beg for the vouchers, because we werent with a group????? Air conditioner didnt work in our room set on 65 all night, felt like 80 beds are not queen more like a full very small. MY advice stick with the Holiday Inn across the street. The Hilton is a gorgeous motel, thats all it has going for it!!

Beds are comfy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/09
Staff was quite rude... a/c didnt seem to be working too well on the 15th floor... but we managed... The beds were VERRRRY comfortable... I did NOT want to get out of it the next morning.. (But Graceland was calling for me, ha)... Towels/sheets/ everything appeared to be clean except for a wild bodily hair on the ledge in the shower. (Funny how the smallest things can freak you out!) All in all, I'd stay there again.. The fast and scenic elevator ride alone is worth it. =)

HORRIBLEEEE
By Jodi, 7/3/09
We drove all he way from Texas. Arrived here at 12pm am did not get our own room until 6:40pm. It took us longer to get our room we reserved 4 months ago then to drive from Texas. We were given a comlimentary food card that we couldnt use since it was cheaper to go eat some where else. (paying the difference). This place was a joke! The maid supervisor said that they never even knew the rooms needed to be cleaned. When we did get into the room the floors were dirty and we had only 2 towels. I dont understand why ANY one would pay this much to stay in the piece of crap pce
