Holiday Inn World's Fair Park, Knoxville

For the price I paid ! Oh just awful...Don't waste your money..The rooms smell..the beds are sunk in they are so old..NO frig in room..It is just worn out! It was just me and my daughter and If it hadn't been late and not knowing where anything was I would have left and found another place! The only thing going for it is location..

I would definatly recommend this hotel to others that are looking to stay in the Knoxville Downtown area. The staff was extremely helpful from the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the waitstaff. Our room was clean and our room service was delicious! Overall the hotel was great. It was also very easy to find off the interstate. We will be back.

This place was nice and clean and had friendly staff members at the time I stayed here. I had prepaid through an online company, and when I got there, everything was ready for me and I was a happy customer. However, when I returned home, there was a charge on my debit card even though I had prepaid through the online company. I called them and they said it was their mistake and they would fix it. However, after two weeks, it was not fixed. After calling them back two more times, half of the charge was returned to my debit card. After calling them about the other half, they said it was the parking charge, although when I checked in the front desk attendant told me that parking was free of charge and was included in my amount already paid. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service that guest services gave me after my stay. Not to mention that the $70 charge made my bank account overdraft and I had to pay a $31.97 fee for it. I was not upset and did not ask for that to be refunded. I am a college student and watch my money carefully, and I tried to fix this problem as many times as I could. I called and complained, not asking for the refund or anything, just to tell them my experience and how they should try to do better and he rushed me off the phone not wanting to hear what I had to say. Even though this was a nice hotel with clean and comfortable amenities, I will never go there again.

I stayed here for a business trip a couple weeks ago. The staff was extraordinary, from the front desk, to the bellman, to the waitstaff in the restaurant. Everyone made me feel at home and comfortable during a stay away from home. The hotel is under relatively new management and you can really tell. The place was under a little bit of remodeling but you could tell it was going to be beautiful. The restaurant was great, food was yummy, and the staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. I would definatly recommend this hotel

The room stinked and I paid 129 per night instead 0f 104 a night for the breakfast, and when I ate breakfast they tryed to charge me again, after I talked to them, they gave me a coupon whcih made no sense, and the breakfast was disgusting. The service and reception was unhelpful. I do not recommand this hotel

The staff was great, the beds were hard, the rooms were musty smelling, we couldn't see out the windows they were so dirty, the resaturant was way to high for the food we got. The parking was horrible, but you sure had to pay at check- in, then had to drive around for 30 minutes to find a space. The motel was over rated and I would not recomend it to any one and we will not stay there again. The rate was way to high, we have stayed at a lot of motels and this is one of the worst.

Traveled to attent sons graduation @ UT. Have stayed at this location during his 4 years at school. Good location, walking distance to UT. 3 good restaurants within walking distance. Nice area at Worlds Fair Park. Rooms always nice as well as prsonnel.

I have stayed in the Downtown Knoxville area many times and basically refused to stay in this hotel in the past. In searching for a downtown hotel this time, I read that the hotel had been renovated so I thought I'd give it a shot. I stayed there this past Friday and checked out on Monday. The lobby area is very nice and the service at the restaurant and bar was great. Our room didn't have much of a view but it was nice enough and it was clean. The indoor pool is kind of small but the kids enjoyed it. I was there for the USSSA World Series my son was playing in so having a washer/dryer was a must. My opinion of this hotel has changed for the better with this stay. By the way, I was not charged for parking.

We attened the "Honda Hoot 2005" event for a week & could not have been more pleased!!! EXCELLENT: Location, Convenient nearby Shopping ,Great Rooms,Very reasonable Rates/Prices, Services, Etc. Resturant Food was unbelivable & very affordable. The bar area was so much fun, due to the A+++++ quality service & great 5- star treatment we were given by "Rich & Mandy"(bartenders). We made new friends that we will never forget (even if you don't drink). We highly reccomend this as the "Place To Stay" on your next trip to that area. We are already planning to stay there next year...wouldn't stay anywhere else!!! THE BEST!!!!

We stayed here to see a show at the TN Theatre and the location could not have been better. Only stayed one night but the room was nice and clean and the bed slept great. Express Checkout was also helpful.
