BEST WESTERN Plaza Inn, Pigeon Forge

On our way home from Virginia Beach to Oklahoma we decided to stop in Pigeon Forge to break the 23 hour drive up from our 2 year old and 2 month old. I reserved the room on my phone which stated "moutain view balacony". When we arrived to check in the gentleman at the front desk asked if we wanted the 1st or 2nd floor. I was thinking in my head how can we have a "mountain view balacony" on the 1st floor, so I went and looked out the window to see what the differances were and did not see any rooms with balaconies. I asked the staff member if that was part of the hotel and he was very rude about it, saying yes. I decided to get the 1st floor for easy in and out access with the kids. He gave us a map of where our room was and upon driving to the back of the building we discovered the balacony rooms. Ours was right beside one of the pools which turned out perfect because I could sit with the baby and watch my husband and daughter play in the pool. I was disappointed that the laundry room was only open from 8am to 9pm because we were out of clothes being we just decided to stay spur of the moment. The room was clean but the bathtub was dingy and had a crack in the bottom. The shower head didn't detach so it was more like sponge baths for my kids.

Great prices, great location and great staff. Rooms are always clean!!

My Mom and I stayed here June, 2011. This is the 3rd or 4th time that we have stayed and I have no complaints at all. I appreciate the free continental breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms. I am getting ready to book another room this month. Thank you Billie Wilson Crossville, TN

We stay here every year and it is always Great ! Friendly ,clean, close to everything ! We have never had a single compaint ! We can't wait to return !!

this is the best motel we have stayed at in pigeon forge the beds were comfrtable the pools were clean and thre was nothing wrong with the room and it dose have a cheap pirce and it was close to to restruants and dollywood splash couintury i wpold recommed pepole to stay here while they are in pigeon forge

The room was actually a little less than what I expected. It was o.k., but when we first walked in, I noticed a few stains on the carpet. We got a room in the indoor pool building, I liked the fact that the room was pretty spacious. The windows in the indoor pool area had buildup on them from the pool, which gave the hotel a dirty look. We did have a nice stay, I just expected the hotel to be a little nicer from the reviews and pictures. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful which made our stay nicer. Didn't get a chance to try the continental breakfast, however the building it was located in looked nice. A bonus was that they have free Wifi. Hope this helps

We always stay here. It is very clean and we stay in the rooms connected to the indoor pool. They are usually the same price as the other rooms. We like that you can step out of your room and right into the pool or hot tub. We get the King size bed room with an outside balcony. It has a sleeper sofa. We stay with 3 adults and 3 toddlers comfortably. Plenty of room left when the couch is folded up for kids to play. My father can smoke on the outside balcony. There is a trolly stop right out front of the hotel. It is the perfect setup. It has a mini fridge and microwave for quick meals. Soup or microwave mac-n-cheese anytime for the little ones. The breakfast offered at the hotel is wonderful. It stays a little busy so we send grandad over to bring back biscuits and gravy for everyone. From the indoor pool rooms, breakfast is an uncovered walk to the back of the property. For the price, you just can't beat it. We always check out hotel rooms at places before we pay for them. We went to at least 5 different places before we found this one. Not one of the others came close. We needed lots of room for the kids to play in the room. The property has a total of 3 pools. It is also walking distance to several places to eat within 3 to 5 blocks including Shoneys, Cracker Barrell, and Dixie Stampede. We love it. I hope you do as well. We visit each fall.

We go to Pigeon Forge every year and usually stay at National Parks Resort. Last year we were kinda let down with our room there due to the terrible view out our window of the roof, air conditioner didn't work well, comode wasn't working either and the couch had stains on the cushions. I wanted to try some place new so I looked on the net and noticed Best Western great reviews. Well they are all true. It was very nice! Clean Clean Clean! Had access to 3 pools! No over crowding what so ever and a good free breakfast- biscuits gravy, bagels, juice, fruit, eggs, toast, donuts, coffee. Very handy to the back streets for easy entering and leaving. We got the 2 queen/whirlpool room with fireplace. Let me tell you that was the biggest bathroom and room. Well worth the extra $25 bucks compared to National Parks Resort. Maids were very nice. The only thing they could improve on in our room was a wall in front of the sink/mirror area. If you like clean and roomy stay at Best Western Plaza.

We love everything about this hotel from the desk clerks, employees & staff members. This is our home away from home every chance we get away for a weekend or holiday. Everything is so nice and clean in the rooms and just love the indoor pool. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel to our family & friends. When my husband & I got married in 1989 (we lived in Florida then)now we live in TN. we would vacation 3 times a year and it was always Best Western Inn Plaza.

we have been going to pigeon forge in Feb for the past 4 years and we do not even think of staying anywhere but here. if you want to have fun in the pool without getting out in the cold stay in the rooms that are in the pool area. our kids love staying in the rooms in the pool area. because when they are through swimming we dont have to go to our room on the outside we just walk straight to our room.the service is always great also.
