A great time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/09
I really enjoyed the fact that it was a quiet place. After the bustle of gatlinburg, it was very good to be in a place that we could wind down. We could enjoy the beauty of the grounds and the mountain views from the fenced in porch and patio when we returned every night. It was a good family hotel. The room was big enough for two adults and two older teenagers. We enjoyed having a kitchen and a washer/dryer in the room. I only had two problems. There was not enough hot water for more than one bath if the bath was filled. Our teenagers felt that the game room could have been more extensive. There was a nice playground for younger children. You can enjoy the resort even if you do not golf. We would go back and I would reccomend this resort to anyone.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
By E, 10/13/08
made reservations three weeks in advance to stay in a cabin for bent creek golf resort, when we called to say we were running late they said they had no reservations for us. I called the day before and everything was in good standing. They booked us in a best western. So instead of a romantic getaway with my boyfriend. i had to share a one room hotel with my mom and my aunt.

Absolutely Fantastic!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
How do you describe the ultimate peaceful relaxing getaway even with kids? We stayed at Bent Creek in June and I did not want to leave. I loved it, my kids loved it, and even though it is a little off the beaten path the peacefulness and attention the staff paid to us was great. We were not pushed into going a presentation, this is a time share resort, either. Great place to stay if you like quiet, great golf, and great amenities.

Very nice!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/07
Our experience was wonderful! We wanted a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and that's what we found in Bent Creek. It is about 12-14 minutes out of town in wooded surroundings with a mountain backdrop. It is clean, quiet, and modern. We will probably go there again, and will recommend it to everyone.

Caution before confirming here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/07
My wife and I stayed here for a week, actually, we left a full day early, frustrated with our whole experience. The lodge caters to one purpose - selling additional timeshares. The nicest facilities are those intended for this end. I would recommend the high pressure sales pitch they offer as well. It was pretty intense. The unit we had smelled like smoke, we had to request 2 additional items that did not properly function (can opener & pack-n-play). The resort lacks in amenities and is pretty distant from the towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We've been once, and won't be returning, I would use caution when considering Sunterra in TN.
