looking forward to my return
By ,
I love the pool, and the family atmosphere. There was just enough room for a family of four, the spa was conviently located not to far from the pool and open at reasonable hours for the family to enjoy.

We Did Get to See the Phillies
By ,
I was able to visit the Radisson Warwick Hotel in May of 2004 for a conference. The hotel staff was courteous, but always seemed a little busy and to make a request at the front desk always seemed to take quite a bit of time. The hotel was clean and the accomodations was somewhat nice. We had made reservations for 2 double beds , but was placed in a king size bed room that was really too small for my husband, son and I. The next day the maids told us that the room next to us was empty and it was a double bed room and was more spacious. I had to make several requests to move to that room. We came in late on the night we made reservations and besides the room being incorrect the other problem we encountered was parking. I have a customized van and the hotel's parking garage was not high enough for my van. I had to park several blocks over at another parking garage that could accomodate my van's height. This made my van pretty well unaccessible the rest of our stay, due to the fact that we were worried that if we moved it, we would not be able to retain the one or two parking places that had the height we needed. So we ended up relying on taxis for travel. We did get to see the Phillies play, eat a Philly sub on South Street and visit the Liberty Bell. The last day of my conference we were packing, and the fire alarm went off. Since we were on one of the top floors, we were escorted to the stairwell by maids and told to go down. After numerous flights, we reached ground level to find out that the alarm was for popcorn that had burned in the hotel's deli popcorn popper . We were told that we could go back up. This is well and good, except my husband and I are not in the best of shape and for the next several days on our trip on up to New York, we both had sore muscles from the stairs. Trust me, it made the rest of our trip miserable. Ouch! So, other than seeing the Phillies and visiting the historic spots in Philadelphia, I can only say the Radisson Warwick Hotel may meet other people standards for quality but for out of shape parents with a seven year old son, it has not been one of our favorite hotels.

great service but...
By ,
The service at this hotel was excellent -- solicitous, friendly, and accomodating -- with the exception of the bartender who was grouchy. This made our stay very pleasant. Unfortunately the extra pillows they brought us had stained pillowcases and the shower curtain had mildew stains! The hotel decor is pedestrian and the whole place could use some refurbishing and not all rooms have much of a view -- ours was of a brick wall. Still, it's an affordable stay off Rittenhouse Square.

We loved this hotel
By ,
The Warwick Salon is located in the lobby of the hotel and has wonderful stylists and other services. The beautiful hotel is located near Rittenhouse Square so everything you need is nearby. This hotel is a great place to stay whether you are vacationing or on a business trip.

worst hotel ever
By ,
The room was a smoking room (though i never said non- or smoking), the ac was on when we got there, and i opened the curtains to find an empty beer bottle with a cigarette butt in in. was awakened by a 7:30am fire alarm, had to evacuate, etc....not the best experience.

Don't go out at night!
By ,
Philadelphians do not walk about at night. I noticed they drive or cab it to dinner and the theater. There is no foot traffic like in most major city downtown areas. The hotel was very rich in historical significance. I cannot understand why hotels like this pay extra attention to guest ammenities yet they cut costs by using flat bottom sheets instead of the fitted. What good is it to flaunt "heavenly beds" if the sheets are ill-fitting and worn! It wasn't within walking distance to any of the typical tourist stops. However,it was within walking distance of several very fine restaurants. We chose not to dine at the hotel restaurants because they were jacket and tie. We prefer casual dining(after being in suits all day)and sampling local cuisine when we visit new cities.

Traveling with baby - made easy
By ,
When traveling with our 3 month old son, we stayed several nights at the Warwick. The staff was extremely helpfull (we were even able to check into our hotel at 11:00am). They even allowed us to store ice packs for my sons milk in their restaurant refridgerators. Location was slightly inconvenient but I would stay there again because of the staff.

Just \"ok\"
By ,
I did purchase our room through Priceline, so I feel like we got what we paid for. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is very nice and there are restaurants and a coffee shop located just off the lobby. The elevators were fast and it was easy to access our room. It was also easy to catch a taxi from the hotel. There is a parking garage but it was difficult to access (the access is in an alley and there were trucks unloading, blocking the way in from one side) and expensive. It is $30 for overnight parking and you will be expected to tip whoever brings your car back up to you. At another hotel I stayed at in Philadelphia we only paid $20 for 24 hours and it was easy to access and we were able to self-park, saving the tip money. The room was just ok. I was grossed out by the bathroom. When taking a bath I noticed that the wall behind the toilet was in desperate need of sanitizing. Gross! The Sleep Number bed was not comfortable. It took a while to adjust it so it wasn't too hard, but then we felt like we were sleeping on a deflated air mattress. The worst thing for the were the linens on the bed. There was no fitted sheet on the mattress! Only a flat sheet to cover the mattress with another flat sheet over top and a comforter. No blanket or fitted sheet. These are just basics that you expect. The comforter was small, so my husband and I slept in the very middle of the bed to try to keep covered. Ugghhh... awful nights sleep! Although we got the room for a low price through Priceline, for the type of hotel I would have expected a small refrigerator in the room. Overall, not such a good experience!

Great hotel
By ,
Had a very nice room. Needed some work, but the building is old. The rooms were neat and clean and very comfortable. The front desk and valet service employees were very helpful. We enjoyed our Dali VIP package and were very happy to arrive at the art museum and not have to wait in line. Thank you for the special offer.
