Worst Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/10/11
This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. waited at front desk for 20 minutes for them to find my reservation, went to the room absolute horror it was late in the night and there was no light on in the room only one bed lamp work , went to the bath room found used towels hanging behined the door, bed sheet had blood stain, it was very late in the night and i was scheduled to attend a meeting next day i called teh front desk for a clean sheet and some towels the front desk person was very rude and asked me to come down to the desk for the stuff . when i went to the desk there was a party behined the desk i can smell alcohol and smoke at the desk.. After looking at the front desk it explains why this place is like this. I prefer to sleep in my car insted staying at this hotel.....

made reservations the next week!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/29/10
great customer service of front desk staff - specifically PAUL and PATRICIA - they were the model of customer service! restaurant staff also very cheerful. if you've stayed at different hotel "chains" or even a remote site, you'll be spoiled with the whole appearance of the facility. rates are so competitive and with a complete facility.

This place Sucks!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/6/09
I will never stay here or any other Holiday Inn again. The staff was awful and not very helpful. It doesn't treat all the customers the same.

Terrible service
By Kate, 4/4/09
After trying for over a month to speak to a manager at this facility, I still had not gotten a response. When another employee called to relay the manager's message to me, she was the worst. She actually began yelling at me just because I was direct and persistent about getting some to RETURN MY PHONE CALL. I actually had to hang up on her mid sentence because she would not stop yelling at me. I would NEVER stay at this hotel because I know that my concerns would not be taken care of. What employee yells at guests like that? DO NOT STAY HERE.

We'll Never Stay There AGAIN
By LocalYahooer, 2/28/08
This Holiday Inn gives HI a bad name, and I'm not sure I'll ever stay at another one. First, the employees do need some guest management training, as gossip seems to be their primary concern. Guests do not get proper attention. And the staff is LOUD. Loud in the lobby, in the halls, and outside. That makes it very hard to get rest. The hotel seems to be run by a group of young gals, who really love to desert the desk and gossip in the back. Guests can hear them talking and bursting into laughter. Second, the hotel was nasty. Everything seemed too dirty to touch -- floors, walls, tub, shower, shower curtain, bedding. I'm glad I took some house shoes, because I would NOT have walked on that floor in my barefeet. The bedding was stained, and I'm afraid to even think how they originated. Supplies were not replenished, and we were forced to request bathroom tissue, facial tissues, cups, and soap. The non smoking areas are full of cigarette smoke. I reserved a non smoking room, and the door had a non smoking symbol on it. But the entire hotel reaks of smoke -- lobby, halls, rooms. My belongings smelled of heavy smoke when I left. The bathroom was a chore to use. The plumbing needs work, as the water from the shower just trickled out. I'm not sure what they put in the water, but it weighed down my hair and it felt coated and nasty. The electricity has problems, as the lights flickered making it hard to see. I found two small roaches crawling in the sink when I went to the bathroom during the night. It didn't appear that the bathroom had been cleaned after the last guests left, as hairs were all over the place. There was a thermostat on the wall in my room, and I set it at 74 degrees, which was comfortable for me. Whenever I would leave the room, I returned to find the thermostat set down to 70 degrees. The ceilings are disgusting. The drop ceiling panels are stained, leaky, and covered in mold and mildew. The door trim in the bathroom was black with filth. I could not even stand to look at the stains in the bathtub and in the bathroom corners. It is clear that this hotel AND the staff need renovation.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel
By Jonathan Edwards, 10/15/07
I am not one to complain about small issues, but when a hotel is unclean and makes no effort to rectify the issue, then you have a problem. Mold and mildew is in abundant supply in the bathrooms. The shower curtain was more black than beige. There were several different hairs throughout the bathroom - gross! The ceiling tiles were water damaged and mildewed. Our room was non-smoking, but either the previous guests smoked or someone on the cleaning staff smoked in the room. When asked to move rooms, we were told that the hotel was completely sold out; I think that we saw 3-4 other people in the hotel all evening. Everyone must have been watching movies! All in all, this may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in (travel a lot for business). Do yuorself a favor and stay at the (cheaper) Comfort Inn across the street - or better yet, spend a little bit more and stay in a nicer place!

NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/07
DURING MY STAY I WAS GREETED BY A NICE CREW AT THE FRONT DESK, BUT THAT WAS IT. THE ROOMS WE'RE BUG INFESTED, THE RESTROOMS WERE IN DESPERATE NEED OF CLEANING AND RESTOCKING, I HAD TROUBLE WITH THE PHONE IN THE ROOM PLUS THE TV, AND QUITE POSSIBLY THE WORST PART WAS WHEN I ASKED TO SEE THE MANAGER I GET THIS HEAVY SET MAN WHO HAD VERY POOR HYGENE (TERRIBLE BREATH JUST TO NAME ONE EXAMPLE, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS BECAUSE OF HIS CULTURE OR WHAT). BUT HE WAS LITTLE HELP AT ALL, AND WHAT WAS SO BAD IS THE FACT THAT I TRIED TO BE AGREEABLE AND THEY KEPT TRYING TO JUST BRUSH OFF MY COMPLAINTS. ALL IN ALL THIS PLACE COULD HAVE POTENTIAL, BUT NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT.

Good but not great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/07
The ROOM is really clean but the hotel is not. Everything closes at 10 so after 10 there no night life. The air conditioning in the room does not work.

NEVER AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/30/07
THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS DIRTY. THE ROOMS FREQUENTLY CONTAIN HAIR, BUGS & GARBAGE. THE AIR QUALITY IS POOR. NO WAY TO ACCESS FRESH AIR FROM THE ROOMS. TRAFFIC FLOW IS CUMBERSOME. I'D RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR. BAR IS CONVENIENT.
