Inn at Presque Isle, Erie

Very nice people running the office. I would definitely recommend!! If you're looking for a clean place for a great price, this is the place for you. It only took 8 minutes to get all the way to the Marina at Presque Isle State Park....excellent location and perfect for fisherman with boats. I was able to connect my boat's charger very easy right outside of my room: easy in easy out. And the room I had was furnished with new mattresses. Excellent night sleep!

I loved pretty much everything about this hotel! My whole family has been going up to Erie for 11 years, and sorry to say we are quite trouble makers. We have been kicked out of many hotels, and we hated many. We enjoy staying outside of our bedrooms late at night, and running around. The inn was perfect for all this! There was a huge yard, where me and the rest of my cousins enjoyed running. The adults loved the grilling and eating area. We took over that area for the whole weekend! Sorry! We loved your staff and the rooms. The rooms were clean, and the staff was so polite. We were told nicely if we were doing anything wrong, and that kept us from getting kicked out! We stayed at The Inn At Presque Isle for the past three years. (2009, 2010, and 2011) Hopefully we will stay again in 2012. I absolutly love this hotel! My cousins and I also enjoyed how conveniently close it was located to waldameer. We spent one night of our weekend trip there.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Presque Isle. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and very helpful about what there was to do in the area for fun! Very pleasant people, which made the stay even better! The rooms were very clean and it was a very nice an quite place to stay. The Inn is close to EVERYTHING... the beaches, casino, the zoo, and a ton of shopping!!! Also another thing to add was the cost to stay there was very affordable :-) which really was nice!! I would recommend the hotel to anyone and I would definitely go back there for another stay!!!! :-)

Hmmmm, what did we like? LOVE is more appropriate-EVERYTHING! For 10 years in a row we stayed somewhere else until 3 years ago when a friend recommended The Inn (Thank you, you know who you are!) We checked in 8/25 and ended up staying an extra day this year because we love it so much. This is definately home away from home and Chris and his staff are mostly to thank. The pool is fantastic, the location is excellent and the price is right! If there were beds by the pool my kids would never come inside. I also love how weekends start off with lovely pastries from a local bakery! This year we brought 2 extra families and started a tradition with them now! Stay here one time and your "hooked".........not to mention all the wonderful people we meet each year. Thank you Chris and all your professional, kind staff for continuing to make my children's memories ones to pass on to their children!

My children and I have visited The Inn at Presque Isle four years in a row. We look forward to our trip each year and we wouldn't stay anywhere else while vacationing at Presque Isle. We love the service we receive. Every year my kids suggest that we stay an additional day when we come back the following year.

location, the staff is wonderful and the manager chris is great. will be back next year.

My likes are that it was close to the lake.The air worked good in this room.my dislikes were , the pool has no shower near it to rinse off , kids were jumping in and out of both pools with dirt on them from playing in the sand box and grassy area, sandbox had cat poop in it near the swing..one of the kids had cat poop on their feet and I watched the dad pick up his kid and rinse the childs feet off in the baby pool..yuk..As far as the room went we stayed in one of the older rooms and it was a morning routine to remove centepedes from the bathroom..musty smelling..stained sheets and blankets, they need new pillows..carpet turns your feet black and i know they dont wash blankets and bedspreads after guest check out, i watched the maids..pricey for older rooms..Mgr was clearly present but not Mr. Personality, its all about getting guest in and out ..and booking the next in..bring your cleaning supplies..If you want a quiet stay this isnt it..lots of kids and people drinking..

Our first time to Erie,PA and had an awesome experience!! This hotel made the difference in our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The air conditioner saved us in this 95 degree heat. The pool was open until 11pm with a lifeguard on duty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked how they recommended local restaurants instead of the chain restaurants. The hotel is the closest to Presque Isle State Park where we bicycled, went swimming and kayaked. It was a GREAT get a way. Thanks to the hotel.

My wife and I made a last-minute decision to get away for the week-end. We live in Ohio and searched for something close to the beach, but everything was booked. That turned out to be a good thing, because we then expanded our search to Presque Isle and discovered the Inn. It was inexpensive (for a summer rate) and the location was ideal. It is right next to an amusement/water park and it was a 15 minute walk to the beach. Presque Isle beaches (there are 12) are empty-even in the summer. As other reviewers have said, the proprietor-Chris-is great and very accomodating. THis was a perfect summer getaway, and my wife and I will certainly return.
