La Quinta Inn Pittsburgh Airport, Coraopolis

The staff was competent and friendly, the location met my needs. Inside: A clean, comfortable, secure, and attractive room with an extra-firm mattress. I appreciated the in-room coffee and iron. The TV system was fine and having a work table with a lamp and phone is a plus as is the comfortable recliner. But, there is not even a rudimentary workout room. The hotel had no high-speed internet access (the staff told me that a broad-band project was underway). Outside: The facility generally looks dated and in need of modernization. The first impression was bad--one of the double entry doors to the lobby did not work. The pool has been filled with earth: Weeds were sprouting through the snow.
