Days Inn New Stanton, New Stanton

We spent the night here on New Years Eve. The food was wonderful. The band was great. It was packed..so not much room to sit or dance..but we had a great time. The rooms were clean and we thought on New Years it would be very routy..but the noise was kept to a minimum and everybody seemed to have fun. Would go back.

First Off The lady at the front desk acted like checking us in was a brother of her time. Ist floor stink, Got in Elavator it look like it wasn't clean in months, In our room above the sink there was a hole cut into the ceiling and a grill was put up to cover it and you could see the crude through the grill. Breakfast area are dirty, The couple with us found bugs in their room and the staff changed the room for them

This hotel was a pleasant and welcome surprise for us. We were greeted by a clean and pleasant smell as we entered our room, and found our room and bathroom to be immaculately clean and neat. It has to be one of the very cleanest hotel rooms we have stayed in for this price range. The hallways were clean and had no unpleasant odors, the staff pleasant, and everything seemed orderly. We were pleased with the hot breakfast options. The sausage and egg patties are kept cold to reduce wasted food and I had no problem with heating them myself. The 1 tiny microwave however does not have enough power to heat them quickly nor can it keep up with the demand of the guests. The eating area is very small and crowded but the guests were pleasant, we adjusted with smiles, and the small area was not a problem for us. The hotel was extremely convenient for us, being just off the interstate. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay for us, we were impressed by this hotel, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

When I stayed there, there were ants crawling around, water leaking from the roof to the third and second floors. Beer cans in the elevator. And yes the halls smelled bad, Pubic hair on the floors, and the smell of Marijuana throughout the hotel was awful !!! My fridge didn't work also!

I've stayed at the Days Inn several times and I've never had any kind of brown smear, pubic hair, dirty pool experience. Actually the last time I stayed there I was told by the front desk clerk that they are in the process of doing some remodeling. In fact, the room I stayed in had a new A/C, new mattress & boxspring, new drapes, & a new comforter on the bed. All that with a microwave and refrigerator for $54.00. You just can't beat it.

The halls smelled bad. Our bathroom was covered in pubic hair, the sinks were spattered, and the air conditioner loudly grinded. So we moved to another room, but this had blood and toothpaste on the sink, my little daughter found pins sticking up from the rug, the towels had brown smears, and there was hair in the bed. So we moved to yet another room on a different floor, but still hair in the bed and scary stains on the sink, as well as a marijuana cloud in the hall and people walking around with beer cans. So we got our $ back and went across the street to the clean Howard Johnson's for the same price.
